Ingredients
- 1 large orange
- 2 large pears
- 3 kiwis
- 3 cm ginger, approx.
- Orange juice to fill up
- 100 ml strong coffee or espresso
How to make it:
- Peel the orange and cut into medium-sized pieces, quarter the pears, remove the pulp from the kiwi fruit. Put everything together in the blender.
- Cut off about 3 cm from a finger-thick piece of the ginger root, wash and scrape off the peel with a coffee spoon. This amount of ginger develops a considerable spiciness in the smoothie. Depending on your preferences, you can also use more or less ginger.
- Put the ginger in the blender as well. If the blender is not very strong, cut the ginger into small pieces beforehand. Add orange juice as a liquid as desired. We usually take a large glass, around 250 ml. Finally, add strong coffee
- The smoothie tastes fruity with a nice, slightly spicy note of ginger and a light coffee aroma.
